PRIVATE BURIAL CEREMONY FOR WHITNEY HOUSTON, FEB 19

Whitney Houston will be laid to rest at the New Hope Baptist Church on Sussex Avenue, Newark, New Jersey on Saturday, February 19, 2012. Her father John Russell Houston Jr. was also buried there 9 years ago.

The burial will be a private ceremony, the press is not invited.

Houston as a child first showcased her singing talents in the Baptist Church and it was there she rendered her first solo performance ‘Guide Me, O Thou Great Jehovah’ (watch video below).

Her body arrived Teterboro airport, New Jersey in a private plane owned by actor-producer Tyler Perry, Monday, 13, 2012. A number of fans gathered outside the airport as her body was later conveyed in a gold hearse to the Whigham funeral home in Newark shortly before midnight.

Houston, 48, died in a Beverly Hills hotel room Saturday, February 11, 2012 on the eve of the Grammy Awards. A Coroner says she complications from Drugs usage. A toxic analysis will be released in a few weeks.

In related news, Ghanian star Majid Michael paid a visit to the Houston’s tribute ground in front of Beverly Hilton hotel where she passed away.
